Planning this boho glam wedding was so much fun! This gorgeous wedding venue, Reflection Bay, is nestled in the heart of Lake Las Vegas but is still only 20 minutes from the Las Vegas strip. The venue sits on a 320 acre man-made lake, and the sunsets are breath-taking! It was the perfect setting for Amber and Jason wanting a destination wedding. They did not want to feel like they were in Las Vegas on their wedding day, but still wanted to experience the Las Vegas Strip with their guests!
At Reflection Bay, you can choose to have a lake front ceremony or a ceremony on a private beach. The venue includes white garden chairs. You will also have access to a gorgeous bridal suite to get ready in that day!
There are several options to host your reception at Reflection Bay. Amber and Jason chose to host theirs in the Rotunda Room accommodating their 50 guests.
The Rotunda Room can host up to about 60 guests with a dancefloor. If you choose to move the dancefloor outside of the ballroom, it can hold up to 130 guests for a sit down dinner. If you want to do a cocktail style reception, this room can hold up to 200 guests. This is my favorite room because of the all white walls, allowing you to really transform the room how you’d like!
The main banquet room can host up to 180 guests inside. If you choose to use the patio along with the ballroom, it can hold up to 300 guests.
If you like the idea of a reception under the stars, you can utilize the venue’s lawn. The Event Lawn can seat up to 400 guests!
I will start by saying, they have amazing food! Scott Commings is the executive chef for Reflection Bay. He was the winner of Hells Kitchen and is a partner in a culinary management company here in Las Vegas, NV. He will not disappoint with your wedding menu! Along with tasty cuisine, Reflection Bay will provide you with exclusive use of the clubhouse and private balcony. They will provide tables, a dancefloor, chiavari chairs, and sparkling wine for you and your guests for the toast.
Amber and Jason had a formal, plated meal with dancing in the middle of the room. We created a shelf with champagne for guests to grab as they entered the reception. Each glass had the guest’s name and table assignment. These name cards were color coded to indicate to the servers, which meal they were having. The kids were greeted with Sparkling Cider!
We put their 360 Photobooth provided by Smash Booth, just outside of the reception room as well. This allowed room for dancing inside, and expanded the overall use of space. Kristen Marie Weddings + Portraits captured this day, so perfectly!
